Committed to a new future
for the wool industry

QWool was established to pursue an opportunity

A 2020 feasibility study highlighted the opportunity for the wool industry to move beyond ‘greasy wool’ exports and recommence domestic manufacturing in Australia. In response, QWool was founded in 2021 by wool producers to capture more value and secure the industry’s future.

Focused on transforming the wool industry

Since establishment, QWool has undertaken a series of due diligence activities, all aimed at delivering on the opportunity to transform the Australian wool industry. This work has been made possible through shareholder contributions and grants from the Queensland Government Department of Primary Industries.
